One of the things I love is Vox Machina, having honed their skills over years of adventures,all using equipment that was literally made by gods and various magical items, decide to bring Jarret, the man they originally hired to help defend their keep, who is pretty much a regular trained dude with a regular crossbow, to fight the ancient red dragon, that even they fear to an extent, because they think he’ll totally be able to handle it
