Man, I really love that one game where the player character is woken up by their eventual partner and best friend only to discover that they have amnesia, and the two of them go on lots of adventures together and become really well known throughout the land and get this time travel is involved and the group eventually has to save the world from a dragon, but when they defeat it the player character is erased from existence but because of the wishes of their friend they’re brought back to the world and everyone is happy.
