random, but i really enjoy this visual from this week’s chapter

i still don’t like Endeavor for all the things he did, but this visual really gives you an idea of just how stubborn he is, and just how futile it was for him to try and reach All Might’s power. it’s short but simple–explaining everything about his desperate attemps to reach All Might in one image.

look at that. he’s trying to build a bridge over a chasm with pieces of broken wood and some rocks. that’s just great symbolism on Horikoshi’s part

#it also shows that hawks has been watching him try to get over that chasm since he was a small kid #giving a sense of how much time endeavor put into this as well #making it even more devastating somehow #this man has tried for years and hasn’t come a step closer #but yeah I can’t ever really get myself to like him either #i also like just how clear this image makes it that while endeavor has tried and tried to cross that chasm… #hawks doesn’t even make an attempt standing there relaxed hands in his pockets #and honestly if you take this metaphorical image quite literal it’s kinda…. I don’t know how to express it #but there’s a certain feeling seeing a man with wings just watching a man desperately try and find a way over a huge chasm #just watching on without ever interfering #and as the visually most likely to cross over it just gives it an even bigger punch I think. #how much he doesn’t even want to try to get over there. That he doesn’t see a need? Or maybe no point #but in the end he DID give endeavor the wings to cross; did he not? #for however short that may last #I have a feeling they will burn out only halfway across that chasm only leaving a fall #ahjnkaldfhrödg for some reason I find a lot of symbolism in this chapter and I kinda wanna talk about it but I also don’t wanna #so here I am writing a hell of a lot of tags;;;  (via @jaxonkreide)

this gets funnier every year 

The year is 2042. OKAY BUT WAIT. This has happened to me. Recently. Because I am old and I have things out there from previous fandoms with previous pseuds and one day my teenager begins a rant at me about people never finishing any WIPs on the pit of voles (which he does not call the pit of voles because he has No Knowledge of such a thing but yet he still reads on which I didn’t think anyone did any longer) and he points out an example to me of something I WROTE AND LEFT WIPing for ages and he has NO IDEA #1 that his mom wrote this and #2 How much it still haunts me to this day that it will. sit. there. for. eternity. because I am too lazy to pull it down.
