Well I posted this first on Amino a while back, then posted it on twitter (more like a summarized version). I did my best to figure out his clothing, I can’t say that it’s 100% correct, but it’s the most I can do. So here we go!
Without all the armor and scarves, this is pretty much his casual look. His boots are just so good??????? I love his boots so much?????
Right, so this looks pretty weird in his heroes art, it might even look as if it was part of his shirt. I may be wrong, but I think that the easiest way is to just wrap this huge V shaped waist cloth. The gambenson was another method of armor in the medieval times, considering that he is an archer, the gambeson would provide him mobility to move around faster.
So he should look like this, now with that all settled you can now put on the rest!!
That thing over his shoulder is a shawl. In the original design it looks more like it’s the sleeve to his shirt. But in the heroes art, you can see that it goes around his back. So clearly, it’s not a sleeve. It’s a shawl. Fancy ass shawl. And then you can put on the armor plate on top. Add all the extra belts to look like a final fantasy character and then-

I couldn’t help drawing Bob/Helen, all the interaction between them in this book is priceless <з (also their friendship with Frozone is pure and wholesome and I need a prequel movie about those three set in the Glory Days timeline *v*)

mind you this is my friend who is the total chronic disaster who got into that knife fight in the middle school parking lot so I’m used to giving him shitty advice but this summer since I don’t talk on the phone he texts me every other day with some new terrible strange twist that has happened in his life like “my girlfriend almost got kidnapped” “there are three centipedes in my bed!” “I almost got mugged again” like normally I would just go help him but I’m 4 hours away now and it’s like he forgets GXHRVGSHFV

this I’m aware of I’m his sidekick and the epitome of the nerd best friend archetype but still it is my civic duty to complain
